The first live open global online conversation about my Beyond Erections book will be on Saturday, July 19 at 1 pm Eastern time. You are invited!
[Editor’s note: See post-event feedback below]
The event will be hosted by the wonderful somatic sexuality expert Erica Leroye in conversation with me. She’s the curator of the amazing website and community It Doesn’t Have To Be Hard. Formerly known as Soft Cock Week, this celebration of softer sexual creativity helped inspire the writing of Beyond Erections.
Beyond erections conversation

- The mindset and communication that enables us to discover a whole new way of enjoying sex beyond erections.
- New and creative ways of being sexy with all parts of our bodies including soft penises.
- Expanding orgasm: full body orgasms, multiple orgasms, infinite varieties of orgasm beyond erections.

Update after the event
Last weekend something new and exciting gathered momentum: ordinary people talked openly for two hours about sex beyond erections. Public discourse about penises is usually relentlessly focused on hardness, but real penises are soft most of their lives. I think that a mix of shame and Viagra marketing are misdirecting people. For a variety of reasons some penises stay soft even in sexual situations – for example due to diabetes, aging, prostate cancer treatment, gender reassignment and many more.
We (just over 25 participants) enjoyed open and constructive dialogue amongst the whole range of penis owners, their partners and sexual health practitioners. The core topic was how to enjoy sex beyond erections, and I am grateful to Erica Leroye for hosting the event and featuring my book – as well as all the people who came along to take part. The conversation was kept private and not recorded to enable open discussion of these sensitive issues.
